Supergirl Season 6 Release Date

Supergirl Season 6 does not have an official premiere date just yet, but the CW intends to air the final episodes sometime in 2021.

Of  course, production on numerous shows has been hampered as of late by the Coronavirus Pandemic, which has made it more challenging to run a television set safely ( though Production was always planned to pause to accommodate the pregnancy of the show’s star Melissa Benoist).

With the Pandemic in mind, work on Supergirl will be reliant on how the health crisis develops over the coming months, but a premiere in the spring could be possible if all goes to plan.

Supergirl Season 6 Plot

Without Dreamer’s special gift, it’s tough to predict what’s going to happen in Supergirl Season 6 before filming has even begun. However, it’s safe to say that the impact of ‘Crisis on Infinite Earth’s will still be felt in 2020 and beyond. After all, this will be the biggest crossover seen yet in the Arrowverse.

Supergirl showrunners Robert Rovner and Jessica Queller have already promised that ‘Crisis’ will affect their show more than these events usually do .”It filters into the rest of our season where normally the crossovers are standalone”.

This has led fans to predict that Supergirl might finally join up with the Arrowverse permanently on Earth-1 once everything’s done and dusted. If so, then her own reality might not survive, if the comics are anything to go by, then Kara herself might not make it out alive either.

Supergirl Season 6 | Trailer

Unless Supergirl flies around the earth super fast and moves us all forward in time, we probably won’t see a trailer for Season 6 anytime soon.

Instead, expect, new footage to soar our way next year at San Diego Comic-Con, which runs from July 23-26, 2020. Previous Seasons have debuted there and it’s likely that Season 6 will do the same.

Until then, check out the Season 5 trailer above to see the girl of Steel Kick ass in her new threads.
